NEGAUNEE -- Tough decisions are coming for the Negaunee School District.

The budget for the next school year was talked about at a workshop Thursday, with about 60 to 75 staff and community members in attendance.

Still, the Negaunee School District needs to cut $1.2 million for the next school year.

According to Superintendent Jim Derocher, this most likely means staffing cuts will have to be made.

The next school board meeting is March 15.
