ALGER COUNTY -- A Trenary man is arraigned in connection to a snowmobile accident in Alger County.
Twenty-six-year-old Nathan Curry was charged with operating under the influence of liquor causing serious injury.
Police say that on February 28, two snowmobiles were traveling on Cold Springs Road. The first sled hit a snowdrift and threw the two people off.
Curry was unable to stop and ran over the driver of the first machine. She suffered injury to her ribs and vertebrae and punctured her liver and a lung.
The current condition and name of the 20-year-old Escanaba woman has not yet been released by authorities.
Meanwhile, Curry will have a preliminary hearing on March 11.
