KINGSFORD -- Friday, February 19, 2010 at 7:37 p.m.

New information continues to come out about Kingsford bank robbery suspect Kimberly Anne Timbrook-Miller.

According to Range Bank $52,000 was stolen. Police recovered around $35,000 from the Kingsford home where Timbrook was arrested.

Sources close to the situation said she gambled away a large portion of the missing $18,000 on the night of the crime.

According to the FBI complaint filed in federal court Friday Timbrook made a $1,000 rent payment to an Iron River credit union after the robbery.

Also according to the complaint a toy gun was recovered and is believed to be the weapon used during the robbery.

Police said they were surveilling the Maple Street residence when the 911 call came in about the suspect.

“We were just developing a plan,” said Kingsford Public Safety Detective Lieutenant Todd Formolo. “We were one minute away from actually doing an arrest. We had four vehicles involved and eight officers and that the same time we received a 911 call to that same location where she was at.”

“Unknown to the individual we were outside the home so we immediately arrested the suspect.”

Timbrook is scheduled to appear again in US District Court in Marquette Tuesday at 2 p.m.
