Kingsford Police are still searching for a woman suspected of robbing the Range Bank in Kingsford Wednesday afternoon.

As of Thursday morning, the police have no new leads or suspects and are using the information they have.  The woman is believed to be 5'11" to 6' in height, thin and wearing sweat pants.  She may be with a male subject and it is possible she is in a 2002 silver Pontiac Bonneville, however, many other cars were described at the scene.

On Wednesday at 12:45 p.m., Kingsford Police were in a standoff situation at the bank.  An eyewitness told TV6 that four or five women were released from the back door, they had their hands up in the air and went into a church where they were searched and cleared.

The stolen money was apparently put in a Wal-Mart bag inside a black backpack.

All the surrounding streets and businesses were shut down while police surrounded the bank.

We will have more information as it becomes available.
