A Georgia man faces up to four years behind bars for pulling a knife on a Delta County woman back in December.

DELTA COUNTY -- A Georgia man faces up to four years behind bars for pulling a knife on a Delta County woman back in December.

Thursday, 20-year-old Timothy Coble pleaded no contest to felony assault.

Coble says he was intoxicated at the time of the incident, which is why he pleaded no contest.

With the plea agreement, habitual offender charges were dropped.

Police reports indicate Coble pulled a knife and put it to the victim's throat in a December altercation.

Coble will be sentenced on April 6.
