MARQUETTE -- A single vehicle accident on US-41 just outside of downtown Marquette sent two people down a hill landing near Lake Street.

Officials say the driver and passenger appear to not be critically hurt, but medical professionals are still assessing their conditions.

The icy road conditions appear to be a factor in the accident, but authorities continue to investigate the cause.
