IRONWOOD -- Alcohol is being investigated as a contributing factor to a crash earlier this week that claimed the life of a Wakefield man.

Thirty-one-year-old Adrian Norabuena-Medina was killed early Tuesday morning when his car crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a logging truck.

The crash happened on US-2 in Ironwood, just in front of Grand View Hospital at 3:45 a.m.

According to the Gogebic County Sheriff's Department, test results will not be concluded for several weeks.
