The current city manager, Judy Akkala, announced last November she'd be retiring.

MARQUETTE -- The City of Marquette is seeking citizen input involving the next city manager.

The current city manager, Judy Akkala, announced last November she'd be retiring. 

Commission members are now asking residents what they would like to see in their next move to fill the seat.

Akkala's last day as city manager will be January 15.  Until the position is filled, Police Chief Mike Angeli will serve as interim city manager.
