Victim flown to Duluth, Minnesota
IRONWOOD -- A suspect is jailed after a stabbing incident in Ironwood.
According to Ironwood Public Safety, they were called out to a possible assault at a Rowe Street address, around 2:30 Wednesday afternoon.
When they arrived, they found a 46-year-old man had sustained several stab wounds. The 45-year-old suspect was arrested a short time later at a home on Lake Street.
The victim is hospitalized in Duluth, Minnesota after being airlifted out.
The suspect was scheduled be arraigned later Thursday and is charged with aggravated felonious assault with a dangerous weapon.
Police continue to investigate this case.
