Starting January 1, you may leave your trees at the west end of Lakeview Arena's parking lot, or at the Baraga Avenue Ice Rink in Marquette.

MARQUETTE -- The City of Marquette is again offering drop-off locations for city residents who pay the garbage and yard waste fee on their monthly bills.

Starting January 1, you may leave your trees at the west end of Lakeview Arena's parking lot or at the Baraga Avenue Ice Rink.

Both areas will be clearly marked with orange fencing.

Please be sure to have all decorations and stands removed before placing the unwanted trees inside the orange fencing areas.

The sites will remain open until January 18.
