Just in case you haven't heard yet, there will be a ball drop again this New Year's Eve in Marquette.

It'll be downtown at the corner of Front Street and Washington.

Streets in the immediate area will close at 11:30 pm on Thursday, and re-open at 1:00 am on Friday.

The event usually attracts between four and five thousand people to the streets.
