ONTONAGON -- The reward in the wolf poaching case in Ontonagon County has been boosted to $7,000.

An anonymous donor has chipped in another $500.

The DNR and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service say the wolf killing occurred between November 12 and 16 in Ontonagon County.

The wolf's radio collar was found in the Stony Creek area, east of the old White Pine Mine location.

If you have information on this case and you'd like to collect the reward, you're urged to call either the DNR at (800) 292-7800 or the Fish and Wildlife Service at (989) 686-4578.
