MARQUETTE -- It was a special gift for kids and adults today in Marquette.

Admission to the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum was free Saturday.

Over 200 people came to explore the museum.  From holding snakes to playing with toys, there's something for every child.

"Well it's kind of cool and you see lots of things.  It's more fun than you expect it to be," said six-year-old, Martin Love.

"I like to come around and look at all the cool stuff that's here, like all the rocks.  My favorite thing to do was to just look around with my little brother and everything," added 12-year-old Sammy Anderson.

The annual free day at the museum is sponsored by Charter Communications.
