DELTA COUNTY -- Another phone scam is making its way into Upper Michigan.

Police agencies in Schoolcraft and Delta Counties say residents have reported the scam.

People have been getting phone calls saying they need to reactivate their debit and ATM cards.  The caller then asks for not just the number on the card, but the expiration date and CCV number from the back.

Authorities say this is not a legitimate phone call, and that you should never give any personal numbers out to anyone over the phone.

If you have given this information out, you should contact the company that issued the card to get a new one.
