Over 112,000 pounds of food collected
NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- The TV6 Canathon drive wrapped up Thursday night. Once again, Upper Michigan showed just how generous it is.
Earlier that night, we aired a one hour Canathon program where you had a chance to meet some of the people who made it possible.
The National Guard was on hand to pick up the food and deliver it to local food pantries.
The Canathon drive collected a grand total of 112,750 pounds of food. That's even more than last year.
