Police catch three suspects after a brief chase.
CALUMET TOWNSHIP -- On Sunday, police arrested three people accused of stealing two ATVs and a pickup truck in the Keweenaw.
It all stems from reports that several garages in Calumet and Osceola Townships were broken into Saturday. Included in the theft were the two ATVs and the truck.
Then early Sunday morning, an off duty trooper began to follow two ATVs passing by his home. He was joined by a Houghton County Sheriff's Deputy and a brief chase ensued, ending with one of the ATVs crashing.
Police recovered what's believed to be the two stolen ATVs and the pickup truck.
One of the suspects was a juvenile and was released to his parents. The other two are in jail.
Their names have not been released, pending arraignment.
