AMASA -- Police remained on the scene of an apparent murder-suicide in Iron County Tuesday night.

The incident happened at 248 Townline Road near Amasa.  Police believe the husband killed his wife before killing himself.

The Iron County Sheriff's Department responded to the call at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Several young children were living in the home, but weren't there at the time of the murder.
