WLUC will run FOX programs, August 17
NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- Ever since it was announced earlier last week that WLUC would also be broadcasting FOX UP to Upper Michigan, we've been bombarded by calls from viewers.
What many viewers want to know is how they'll find FOX UP. On the digital signal, it'll be at 6-2. On Charter cable, it'll be on channel 306, as it now stands.
"As far as other cable delivery systems, we're not sure where they're going to carry it at, and we're currently negotiating with Charter to have that moved down to a lower channel on the tier, hopefully within the 2 to 74 expanded basic tier," said WLUC President, Rob Jamros.
The other big question we're hearing from you is this: "What about NFL football?"
Jamros says, as it stands now, FOX UP will carry 12 Packer games and 8 Lion games, but that could change.
Launch date for the new FOX UP? August 17.
