Marijuana plants seized

They were found growing near Mont Ripley.

HOUGHTON COUNTY -- The Houghton County Sheriff's Department has confiscated more than two dozen marijuana plants.  Officers found 26 plants growing in Pewabic Location in Franklin Township.

The plants were in a wooded area northwest of the Mont Ripley ski area.  

The investigation continues into who is responsible for the plants.
