It's lunch time here at the program for Native American youth.

I just got done talking to kids in physics and chemistry classes.

I learned that Native Americans are under represented in STEM fields.

STEM fields consist of science, technology, engineering and math.

So this is a great way to introduce Native American kids to these fields.

Gosh, where's summer?  It's another rainy morning here in Marquette.  Today I'm heading to NMU and the Native American Youth Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Program.  We'll show you some of the courses and the reward students take away from the experience.

I'll have another update later.
