Wildfire sparks in northern Marquette County

Firefighters were called to Powell Township just after 3 p.m.

POWELL TOWNSHIP -- The DNR was called to the scene of another wildfire in Marquette County on Saturday afternoon.

According to officials, the blaze started just north of Saux Head Lake in Powell Township.

The fire scorched about four acres before crews were able to contain it.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
