Escanaba's YMCA is offering day camp activities for those kids who are not traveling.

ESCANABA -- Not everyone gets to leave home, let alone travel to exotic places on spring break.

Well, for kids staying in Delta County this week, the YMCA is offering day camp activities over the next few days.  So far close over 35 kids, ages 5-12, have signed up.

The "Y" provides supervised activities such as rock climbing, swimming, bowling and arts and crafts from 9 am until 5pm.

This is an annual event hosted by the "Y."

"It gives somewhere for the kids to go that don't get to go out of town on spring break.  It gives them a place to come where they get to have fun and spend time with friends for the week," says the School Age Director Mandy Bernard.

For more information on the spring break day camp, contact the YMCA at (906) 789-0005.
