NEGAUNEE -- A program originally intended for public buildings and schools has been extended to private businesses.

Northern Options Energy Center provided information to Negaunee residents Tuesday morning on how they can make their businesses more energy efficient through state programs.

The Rebuild Michigan Program was opened up to private businesses this year to help owners identify potential upgrades in their buildings.

"This is a technical training that will cover in detail how to operate and monitor your utilities bills, operation and maintenance for heating ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as operation and maintenance of your facility," said Program Coordinator, T.J. Brown.

The all day seminar will also be held at the Village Township Hall in L'Anse Wednesday and the city hall commission chambers in Gladstone on Thursday.
