MUNISING -- You've heard of eating on the run, but what about eating while cross country skiing?

On Saturday, hundreds of skiers from across the Midwest took to the trails at Valley Spur in Munising for the 17th Annual Taste and Glide.

For a small fee, the skiers could sample different treats from buffet tables set up all along the trails.

The event was catered by Sydney's Restaurant.

All the money raised goes towards the trail system's operating costs.
