HOUGHTON -- They've been growing them out for two months, and students at Michigan Tech showed off their beards Thursday afternoon in the Winter Carnival Beards Competition.

The winner gets points toward the Winter Carnival overall winner, which will be announced Saturday night at the Tech hockey game.
