NEGAUNEE -- The celebration of winter continued at the Heikki Lunta festival Sunday with a geocache.

Participants used GPS devices to find five hidden treasures.

For those who had never been geocaching before, instruction was given.

Caches were hidden along a two-mile section of the Iron Ore Heritage Trail and could be found by walking, skiing or snowshoeing.

Not only were prizes involved, but it was a great way to get outdoors.

"Because it's beautiful, and because we appreciate the outdoors," says geocache instructor Chuck Delpier.  "We appreciate Michigan, and we love to put electronics in our hands."

All participants had a chance to win the grand prize of a weekend getaway for two on Mackinac Island.
