VFW holds Christmas early
GWINN -- Residents of Gwinn also celebrated Christmas a little early Saturday at the annual Kids Christmas Party.
The party was held at the VFW and was open to everyone in the community. Kids were entertained with holiday games, arts and crafts, and cookies. Santa Claus stopped by to hear last minute Christmas wishes.
The party takes place each year as a way to unite the community.
"We want to show the community that we have the capability of doing this and show what all we do for the local community, and it's important because we want the relations with our community and so forth," said party chairman, Don St. Aubin.
The party proved to be a huge success more than 70 people were in attendance.
