Police looking for witnesses

MARQUETTE -- A hit-and-run incident in the City of Marquette is under investigation.

According to the police it happened Thursday around 10 a.m. in the Marquette Commons parking lot.

A male subject in a light colored car backed out of a spot and hit a female walking though the lot.  He drove away without stopping.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Marquette City Police at (906) 228-0400.
