Marines' Toys for Tots helped out.

DELTA COUNTY -- Local Escanaba radio stations teamed up to help provide a Merry Christmas for local children.

The Radio Results Network and WYKX/WDBC are helping to collect Toys for Tots, put on by the Upper Peninsula Detachment Marine Corp.

They've collect hundreds of toys so far for those less fortunate and hope to collect more before Christmas.

The Marine Corps provided toys to nearly 1,400 kids in Delta County last holiday season.

“There's a lot of kids out there that may not be able to receive a toy Christmas day, so I think things like this, small or large donations of new, unwrapped toys, can really make a kid's Christmas day,” said Jason Lee from WYKX/WDBC Radio.

You can drop off toys at a number of Delta County businesses.
