MARQUETTE -- Before the year ends, the Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette recognizes the servicemen and women who are no longer with us.

Tuesday, the names of 72 veterans were called out in a remembrance service.

The names represent the 72 veterans who were living at the Jacobetti Home and passed away this year.

The service has been an annual event for ten years now.

"They can share their grief together," said Ardy Johnson, Chaplain.  "It's okay, too, if tears fall, and they're with people who have also had losses they've had."

By sharing song and prayer, Johnson hopes those who attended the service will be able to reflect and experience both comfort and joy from being able to remember their loved ones.
