Local author, Ben Mukkala, had a book signing Saturday.
ISHPEMING -- History buffs had a chance to meet a local author today during his book signing in Ishpeming.
Ben Mukkala promoted his newest book, The Gift of Wings, by signing copies at the Country Village Bookstore.
The book is about his life as a pilot during the Korean War, but flying was not a job for Ben, it was a passion.
"Do the thing you enjoy doing in life. 'Cause if you like to do it, you'll be interested in it, you'll learn about it, and you'll be good at it. And if you're good at it, the rest will take care of itself," is what author Ben Mukkala had to say.
The Gift of Wings is now on the shelves and is written for an adult audience.
