MARQUETTE TWP. -- The grand opening of the new Lowe's store in Marquette Township is scheduled for what's likely to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
The big box store had a soft opening last Friday. And so far, so good says Lowe's management.
But opening a 117,000 square foot business with more than 40,000 products is never easy.
Lowe's employs 127 people. They're looking forward to kicking things off officially on Black Friday and hoping to attract hundreds of shoppers.
"We think the draw that we've had during our soft opening thus far that we're going to have some great customer traffic in that day," said Robert Dickinson, Lowe's Store Manager.
Lowe's will open at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
