MARQUETTE -- At Saturday's NMU hockey game against Ohio State, fans threw down hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens.

It was a part of the second annual Warmth on Ice held by the the Rotaries of Marquette County.

The winter accessories were tossed on the ice between the first and second period of the game.

A couple hundred items were collected.  They will now be passed along to agencies who will make sure they get to families in need.
