MARQUETTE -- Women gathered at the Landmark Inn to attend the YMCA's Fifth Annual Slumber Party on Saturday.

Area vendors offered their services for the event with proceeds going to the Betsy Robar Endowment Fund and the YMCA Strong Kids Scholarship Program.

Activities included manicures, pedicures, a Chinese auction and, last but not least, a pajama contest.

"It's just a lot of fun and if people hear about it, next year they should really consider signing up because the fee includes the overnight fee at the Landmark, which has been phenomenal working with us, a buffet dinner, a breakfast buffet, and all the amenities that go along with this, so you really can't afford not to do it," said Financial Development Chair, Michelle Butler.

Guests could also purchase Partylite candles, Tastefully Simple products, purses, and other gifts.
