Weather and tough plants allow a produce stand to reopen.
IRON MOUNTAIN -- A fruit and vegetable stand in Iron Mountain was back in business this week.
Owners stopped growing produce two weeks ago due to cold temperatures and poor sales, but some vegetables have defied the odds and staged a comeback in the past few days.
"Our broccoli and cauliflower are growing pretty well, but everything else has been pretty much knocked off by the frost," stated Benjamin Bjorkman. He says his pumpkins have also been a big hit this year even though they're smaller than usual.
