ESCANABA -- A Bark River man will be heading to boot camp for his part in vandalizing the Escanaba Athletic Field.

Twenty-year-old Johnathon Kolaske was sentenced to two years probation and completion of a boot camp program for malicious destruction of property over $1000.

He and another man, who also pled guilty, spraypainted walls at the Escanaba Athletic Field in April.

Kolaske also must pay more than $2200 in restitution.

Previous charges of conspiracy and being a habitual offender were dismissed.
