Sexual abuse suspect may have been spotted in Twin Lakes.
TWIN LAKES -- A West Virginia fugitive who's on America's Most Wanted Web site, may have been spotted in Twin Lakes this past weekend.
The Houghton County Sheriff's Department received a tip that Kenneth Edwin Mikolon may have been spotted at the Twin Lakes gas station on Saturday.
He's charged with 17 counts of child sexual abuse and failed to appear at a West Virginia court hearing on October 8.
Mikolon is described as 5'10', 255 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was seen driving a green Ford F-150 truck with a West Virginia license plate. Police are asking for the public's help in apprehending him.
"We would not want anyone to approach him or attempt to take him into custody," said Detective Adam Rajala of the Houghton County Sheriff's Department. "The best thing the public can do is notify us of his whereabouts and let law enforcement handle it."
It's also been reported that Mikolon might have been spotted camping at Taquamenon Falls a few days before he was seen in Twin Lakes.
