Latest news, weather, high school sports for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

MARQUETTE -- A group dedicated to defeating Sen. Barack Obama in his quest for the White House made their way through Upper Michigan Thursday.

They're known as "Our Country Deserves Better".  They're a political action group that plays hardball.

In fact, they were met in Marquette by Obama supporters.  Obama opponents are facing an uphill battle in Michigan.  Recent polls show Senator Obama leading Senator John McCain by double digits in Michigan.

The anti-Obama group will travel downstate Friday, and they'll be in Washington, DC for a news conference next Wednesday.
