IRON MOUNTAIN -- Tuesday night was Dickinson County's first-ever, face-to-face business after hours event at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

There was a long line of people eagerly waiting to get into the face-to-face event.  This business after hours circulates around social media and how businesses can use it as a marketing platform.

"Everybody's on social media, grandmas on it.  It's just another way for a business to reach out to a business that they served.  It's another way for a business to get that message out and get people into their doors," said Troy Parkins of Barrington Broadcasting.

Roughly a billion people use Facebook, making social media increasingly more desirable for businesses to connect with customers.
