Man in court for allegedly stealing a wallet

HOUGHTON -- Gordon Matthew Lewis, the man who was out on probation and pled no contest to attempted safe breaking, was back in court on Friday.

The 22 year old was arraigned in Houghton County District Court for allegedly stealing a wallet while on the campus of Michigan Tech.  He was also charged with trespassing.

Under Lewis' probation requirements, he is not allowed on the campus of Michigan Tech after he pled guilty to stealing a wallet and other items from Michigan Tech's campus last year.
