MARQUETTE -- The answer to that question depends on what you're looking for.
With the warmer weather here to stay, many of us may be itching to get outside to enjoy it.
Before setting up camp, however, those in the tourism industry recommend you should first determine what you want to get out of the experience.
"There are two diverse crowds," explained Pat Black, Executive Director for the Convention of Visitor's Bureau in Marquette County. "There's the crowd that likes to have the wilderness experience and then there's the people that have their big motor homes and they want to be in town where there's all the amenities but they're still camping."
Those who like all of the comforts associated with a more urban setting may want to check out Tourist Park in Marquette, while those seeking a rustic feel could head up to the Porcupine Wilderness State Park in Ontonagon.
"I love Whispering Valley in Rapid River," wrote Tracey Kohler on our Facebook page. "Penny is a great hostess and she makes each campsite look a little different, not to mention it's part of the Hiawatha National Forest."
