MARQUETTE -- A man arrested for breaking into a home on the 500 block of West Washington Street in Marquette has reached a plea agreement.  Twenty-six-year-old Douglas John Fitzpatrick of Marquette pled no contest to third degree home invasion.  A charge of second degree home invasion was dropped.

Police say Fitzpatrick was at the victim's house visiting before the crime.  Police say he later returned and gained entry through a window and stole property.

He will be sentenced April 26.
