CALUMET -- The all-school musical in Houghton County is coming to the Calumet Theater this weekend for a performance of the classic '50s-style musical, Grease.

Students from Calumet, Dollar Bay, Hancock, Houghton, Jeffers, and Lake Linden-Hubbell schools will be donning poodle skirts and slicked hair for three performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Students have been practicing the musical since January. Sandy, Danny, Rizzo, and the gang will take the stage in a lively and colorful production with quality props, singing, and dancing as well.

"It's a great show," said Director Sara Perfetti. "The kids have been working very hard. They're dancing and singing and having a good time. There are lots of kids; that's the best part!"

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. The show will be Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The show is supported by the Keweenaw Community Foundation.
