MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- The Marquette County Sheriff's Department has released the names of the people involved in a three vehicle crash on M-553 on Tuesday.

Police report that a Ford truck driven by 22-year-old Ryan C. Heric crossed the centerline after the driver lost control, and struck a Mercury Sable traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the Sable, 57-year-old Evelyn J. Hendry, was taken to Marquette General Hospital after she was extricated from the vehicle.

A third vehicle, driven by 33-year-old Cory J. Lemieux, collided with the rear end of the Sable, according to the sheriff's department.

Police closed M-553 from County Road 480 to Marquette Mountain for two hours after the crash.

The Marquette County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the incident.
