Fire caused total loss

CRYSTAL FALLS -- A building fire at a camp near Crystal Falls has resulted in a total loss.

The lodge at the Camp Sagola Seventh Day Adventist site caught fire on Sunday at around 3 p.m. Located on M-69 in Mansfield Township, the lodge caught fire from undetermined causes.

The Crystal Falls Fire Department, with assistance from the Sagola and Alpha Fire Departments, were on scene for six hours putting out the flames. There were no injuries during the fire. Officials did say the building was a total loss.
