ESCANABA -- The Bonifas Fine Arts Center in Escanaba is known for its range of gallery exhibits, but the Bonifas is also a community center, and the 2013 programs are underway.
There are many different classes to sharpen your art skill or even to teach you basic art skills. They're for adults and children.
From glass artistry to observational drawing and even pen and ink design taught by an artist from Garden, these classes are unintimidating and really for anyone of any skill level.
"Do not be frightened. These classes--the Discovery series--is designed for all levels, entry level included. And our teachers are artists who've been through that process, and they remember when," said Pasqua Warstler, Gallery Education Director.
Officials say they hope people sign up because there are still class openings.
