MARQUETTE -- The City of Marquette is ready to host their third annual open house on Tuesday.

From 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, community members are invited to the Peter White Public Library. It's an opportunity to meet city commissioners, partners and staff, including the police and fire chiefs, city manager, canine unit and more.

There will be interactive displays by city departments as well as challenging scavenger hunts and art projects.

"There will be lots of people here, and all of the departments will be represented," said Tina Harris of the Marquette Arts and Culture Center. "So, it's a great opportunity to learn about your city, and it's also a wonderful opportunity for families with children to come out and engage their children in learning about their city."

The event is being held in the lower level of the library in the community room and arts and culture gallery.
