IRON MOUNTAIN -- We're always looking for ways to get teens involved in the community, and the Dickinson County Public Library does just that.

The public library in Iron Mountain offers a teen club that meets on Monday nights. The club has only recently gotten back together after the holidays and is now ready to crack open some good reads.

The club not only seeks to discuss interesting books but also ways to get involved in the community.

The library is hopeful that more teens will understand the importance of reading and getting involved.

"We're really trying to reestablish it and bring it back to its former glory. So we're really hoping to get a lot of area teens who like the library and maybe think that we don't have what they like," said Amanda Griggs, teen club coordinator.

The teen club is a great way to get teens reading and discussing with each other.
