A Marquette man who ran from police and was tasered accepted a plea deal in court Friday.

James Robert Okesson pled guilty to the delivery and manufacturing of marijuana.

Okesson's lawyer asked that his client be sentenced under HYTA or the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act. That means Okesson's record will be cleared if he follows all of the guidelines in his plea deal.

The judge said he would consider it. All other charges including resisting and obstructing an officer were dropped.
