MARQUETTE -- This Sunday Marquette's most talented chefs will be cooking for a cause.

The 12th annual Culinary Journey at the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum in Marquette presents guests with an opportunity to taste an assortment of cuisines. All the money raised at the event gets donated to the children's museum.

Tickets are $60 each or $110 for a couple and organizers say guests get more than they pay for.

"They put out delicacies that you will absolutely savor," said museum director, Nheena Weyer Ittner. "They'll have wine, champagne, we'll actually have some beer this year as well, and we have music."

Some food will be prepared by hospitality students at Northern Michigan University. The museum will be closed Sunday to prepare for the event, which will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Last year the Culinary Journey raised over $13,000 for the museum.
